The potential and application bandwidth of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning in Financial Services is substantial. The WAIFC, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and NVIDIA, is conducting a series of global webinars on AI in Finance, focusing on North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Russia.
The “Focus on Africa” Webinar is scheduled on the 15th of July 2021, at 3 p.m, and will delve into the AI and FinTech landscape in Africa and the recent regulatory developments. The EDB Mauritius, as member of the WAIFC, will spearhead the Mauritius participation.
The Honourable Minister of Financial Services & Good Governance will deliver the welcome address, followed by a panel discussion which will witness the participation of Mr. Ken Poonoosamy, CEO of the Economic Development Board Mauritius and Mr. Dhanesswurnath Thakoor, Chief Executive of the Financial Services Commission Mauritius.
