In line with its strategy of market consolidation, the Economic Development Board will participate in the Inhorgenta Munich jewellery exhibition which will be held from 22nd to 25th February 2019.
Inhorgenta Munich is one of the leading jewellery fairs in Europe since its inception in 1972 and is considered as a reference jewellery trade fair featuring six halls for different categories of products. It is a major international event, featuring different categories of jewellery and related products such as fine jewellery, precious and semiprecious stone, silver jewellery, classic and contemporary jewellery, designer’s jewellery and costume jewellery.
The 2019 edition is expected to attract 1026 exhibitors from 42 different countries with more than 88% of exhibitors from Europe. The previous edition has attracted over 27,500 visitors from 70 countries and buyers mainly from Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Czech, Belgium, Spain, UK among others.
Ten jewellery manufacturers from Mauritius are expected to showcase a wide range of jewellery products in gold silver and fashion jewellery.
