The Economic Development Board (EDB) will renew its participation in the Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL) which will be held in Paris from 21st to 25th October 2018. For this edition, 9 exporting manufacturers have been selected to participate in the event along with the official delegation.
SIAL Paris is the world's largest food and beverage exhibition which is held every two years which specializes in the food processing industry. The fair is expected to attract over 150,000 visitors from Europe, USA, Canada, China, Russia, Turkey, Poland, and from various sectors of the food processing industry such as distribution, trade and food services. The event will draw 7,020 exhibitors from more than 109 countries and showcase innovative products across 21 sectors and present the dynamic and cutting-edge technologies.
EDB will take advantage of this platform:
- To promote Mauritius as a sourcing destination for trade and investment.
- To consolidate partnerships with buyers and shareholders based in France and EU.
- To persuade new partners and buyers to consider doing business with Mauritius.
