Participation in Vivatech 2022, 15th to 18th June 2022, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France.
The Economic Development Board (EDB) will participate in VivaTechnology 2022 which will be held from 15th to 18th June 2022 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France.
VivaTech is recognized as Europe’s as biggest start-up and tech event which brings together over a hundred thousand of visitors, a huge number of start-ups and investors across more than 149 countries. The event aims at highlighting the power of technology to transform business and society.
The Economic Development Board together with 8 local start-ups namely Inspectforless, Ocean DBA, Adhoc, Dodobird.ai, La Plage Factory, Insynium, Finance Club and Lean Search will participate in Vivatech 2022. With a view to promote the country as a technology hub and an innovative base, a booth of 33sqm within the AfricTech section has been secured.
The event will serve as a platform to allow the local start-ups to meet with the industry leading business leaders, showcase the latest innovations and solutions and engage in future partnership collaborations. Mr. Heerun Ghurburrun, Head of EDB Mauritius France Office will participate in a panel discussion themed “Staying ahead of the curve: how African Fintech companies maintain the competitive edge” to enhance the visibility of the Mauritius start-up ecosystem and position the country as a key investment destination.
