Project Delivery Manager
The Economic Development Board (EDB) is seeking for an outstanding experienced Project Delivery Manager with recognised expertise in Agile Software Development.
In this role, the Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery of several concurrent digital projects, driving project schedules from design to release, managing the production launch based on agile delivery methodologies. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal development team and external stakeholders for process onboarding.
The right candidate will possess a strong program management background and successful project implementation in BPM and web technologies. You will report to the Head of Information Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and build confidence for successful working relationships with the team
- Manage the web and digital experience platform, roadmaps, and release plans to meet the evolving needs and priorities
- Establish processes, governance, operational and communications structures to deliver with consistency, quality, compliance, and speed
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and cultivate successful working relationships
- Ensure structured change control through the change management process
- Define the project’s schedule and scope for timely and regular value deliveries
- Organise and lead project status meetings
- Establish and implement strong governance across the project
- Manage internal communication, ensuring all internal stakeholders are informed and consulted through the lifecycle of the project
- Ensure best practices in risk management, reporting, auditing, and compliance
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree and a Postgraduate qualification in computer science or a related field acceptable to the Board.
- At least 10 years of management experience in a complex Software Development environment.
- At least 2 years proven experience in Software Project Management.
- Proof of continued education, such as software and project management certification, is desirable.
- Ability to lead and drive change management.
- Be an agile development practitioner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A strong understanding of best practices and latest technologies.
- Ability to understand the technical challenges and be able to communicate them to a technical and a non-technical audience.
- A strong sense of ownership for project deliveries.
